Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and regulations, particularly in the area of estate planning law and elder law, excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to supporting our attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services.
Duties
Assist attorneys with legal document preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and other materials as required.
Conduct thorough document reviews to identify relevant information and ensure accuracy.
File legal documents with courts and other agencies in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines for various legal matters.
Collaborate with clients, to gather necessary information.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling communications.
Skills
Proficient in legal drafting.
Ability to file documents efficiently within court systems.
Strong administrative skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Attention to detail for thorough document review processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
