Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to work closely with clients and assist them with their legal needs in labor and employment law. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities Include:
Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.
Drafting, reviewing, and advising legal texts, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.
Advise clients with legal recommendations and strategies.
Increasing business development responsibilities to bring revenue and build clientele.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor and NYS Bar Admittance are required.
1+ years of experience practicing law.
Prior experience in labor law is a plus!
Exceptional contract drafting skills are a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
