We are seeking a sharp, agile Associate Attorney ready to own their caseload from day one. This unique position bridges two vital legal arenas: rapid-fire Eviction Defense (Unlawful Detainers) and high-impact Housing Injury & Tenant Harassment litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Courtroom Advocacy: Courtroom & Trial Advocacy: Act as lead counsel in California Superior Court (primarily LA County) for UD trials, mandatory settlement conferences, ex parte applications, and motion hearings.
- Case Management: Handle civil matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, and taking/defending depositions.
- Niche Litigation Execution: Investigate, file, and litigate catastrophic housing injury, toxic mold, habitability, and severe tenant harassment claims under local ordinances and California state law.
- Client Management: Deliver compassionate, direct communication to clients navigating difficult living situations and physical injuries.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution and active California State Bar License in good standing (Required).
- 1–4 years of experience in civil litigation (Plaintiff personal injury or landlord-tenant habitability experience is a major plus).
- Proven confidence in oral advocacy, brief writing, and motion practice.
- Strong knowledge of the California Civil Discovery Act and motion practice procedures.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
