A Bit About Us
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our well-reputed firm! We are a mid-sized, full-service firm with over a dozen locations nationwide and are currently recognized for having an AV Preeminent rating.
Right now we’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of litigation experience handling insurance defense matters. Experience handling premises liability, construction defects, personal injury, or professional liability cases is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Provide expert legal advice and representation in matters related to general liability, products liability, insurance coverage, professional liability, civil litigation defense, or toxic tort.
Conduct thorough and detailed research to support legal proceedings and to provide legal advice.
Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, depositions, and pleadings.
Represent the organization in court, presenting evidence and arguing cases effectively.
Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
Collaborate with a team of legal professionals on case preparation and strategy development.
Negotiate settlements in complex legal disputes.
Stay current with the latest developments in the law and industry to provide the most effective legal advice and representation.
Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability, products liability, insurance coverage, professional liability, civil litigation defense, and toxic tort.
Proven track record of successfully resolving complex legal cases.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve legal disputes efficiently and favorably.
Exceptional research skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal strategies in an understandable manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
