Porter Simon Law is seeking a full-time attorney to join its strong and growing firm based in Truckee, California. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of legal experience and a desire to practice in transactional, real estate, and general business areas. Some litigation experience will also be a plus. We have delivered premier legal services to the Truckee, Lake Tahoe, Reno, and entire Sierra Nevada region for over 50 years and are proud of our strong, family-oriented culture.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, well-rounded business attorney with experience in general business formation, real estate and land use matters, buy/sell transactions, lease drafting and negotiations, and overall business and transactional law. An attorney applicant must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is also essential.
We train and support the professional development of all attorneys and staff. Client development is encouraged and expected.
The position is for a full-time attorney working in our Truckee office, with options for some remote work. A California license is required, and current Nevada admission is helpful. Strong connections to the region are preferred. A competitive salary is offered commensurate with experience, along with full benefits.
