Your Purpose as a Title Clerk:
Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder is paid before processing title applications.
Prepare the billing and certificates of origin for all dealer trade transactions
Compile and maintain a detailed list of all outstanding title work, working with management and the controller to resolve any issues.
Stay abreast of title regulations by attending local seminars held by local licensing bureaus and/or other approved training.
Conduct periodic training with sales staff regarding title regulations and processes, issuing memos whenever regulations change.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
Title Experience preferred
