Plaintiff litigation firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our legal team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 5 -15 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation. While experience in mass torts is preferred, it is not required. Also, experience with auto collision cases would be a plus but not required. The primary responsibilities of this role include handling a large volume of cases, drafting and filing motions, attending hearings, attending depositions, communicating with clients, and working up personal injury cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling large docket of cases both mass tort and personal injury
Drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Conducting legal research and analysis
Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals
Monitor statute of limitations and upcoming critical deadlines for each case
Work on discovery and document review
Attending hearings and depositions
Providing legal advice and guidance to clients
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of Texas
In good standing in all states in which you are licensed
5 – 15 years of experience practicing law
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent oral and written communication and advocacy skills
Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with mass torts is preferred but not required
Experience litigating 18-wheeler collisions preferred but not required
