Role Description
ELIXIR Legal Services is looking for a **Senior Associate – Litigation** with a minimum of 10 years of litigation experience to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling complex litigation matters and appearing before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court and other judicial forums.
This is a full-time, on-site position that offers the opportunity to work on challenging matters while collaborating with a highly experienced legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage legal cases from inception to conclusion.
Independently appear and argue matters before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court and other courts and tribunals.
Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations and dispute resolution matters.
Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, applications, legal notices, contracts, legal opinions, and other legal documents with precision.
Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
Provide expert legal advice to clients on complex legal issues.
Coordinate with clients, advocates, court officials to ensure efficient case management.
Mentor junior associates and contribute to maintain the firm's high professional standards.
Qualifications
Valid enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
Minimum 10 years of litigation experience.
Proven experience in independently appearing and arguing matters before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court.
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical and advocacy skills.
Experience in civil and criminal litigation; exposure to SRA/redevelopment, commercial disputes, and insolvency matters
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Preference will be given to women advocates practising in Hon'ble Bombay High Court with the required litigation experience.
