What we are looking for:

You will be actively involved in complex multi-party contractual drafting and negotiation for a range of issues relating to some of the largest and most ground-breaking projects in Greece.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide day-to-day corporate law advice to clients;
  • Assist in the structuring and execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions;
  • Conduct legal due diligence exercises and prepare due diligence reports on corporate and real estate issues;
  • Support corporate reorganisations, restructurings and joint venture arrangements;
  • Liaise with the client throughout all stages of a transaction;
  • Draft, review and negotiate Greek-law transaction documents (including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts); and
  • Correspond and coordinate with all parties involved in a transaction, including clients, counterparties, lenders, foreign counsel, technical and other experts.

Skills & qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Greece;
  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE);
  • Demonstrated experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestments and mergers;
  • Experience in corporate advisory work, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and related commercial arrangements;
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English language;
  • Bachelor’s Law degree from a Greek university (additional postgraduate qualifications will be considered an asset).
