Donohue Brown SmythLLC seeks an associate to assist with busy litigation practice, with heavy emphasis on medical malpractice defense. The successful candidate must have exceptional academic and professional credentials as well as strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Responsibilities:
Illinois state bar licensure.
3-5 years of litigation experience.
Exceptional research and writing skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with careful attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and display initiative and good judgment.
Strong communication skills; both oral and written.

Due to the nature of the role, this position is primarily in-office.
The anticipated salary ranges from $115,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional income opportunities include discretionary profit-sharing contributions, typically awarded annually, and a merit-based discretionary bonus.
