Role Description The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Conroe, TX. The Associate will handle legal research, draft and review pleadings, motions, correspondence, and support litigation related to delinquent collections. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing case files, attending court hearings and client meetings as needed, and coordinating with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure timely and accurate case progress. The Associate will communicate with clients and public entities, analyze statutes and regulations, and help develop strategies that align with the firm’s standards of ethical conduct and effective representation. The role also involves contributing to internal process improvements and participating in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice law in Texas.
- Ability to work on-site in Conroe, TX, maintain high ethical standards, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Proficiency with common legal research platforms and office productivity software is advantageous.
