Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience handling Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Abuse cases in Florida.
Proven first-chair trial experience with a solid understanding of the Florida Evidence Code and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
Proficient in conducting depositions, handling hearings, participating in trials and arbitrations, and presenting persuasive PowerPoint presentations at mediations.
Must be aggressive, detail-oriented, dedicated, and relentless in pursuit of justice.
Strong traits of determination, competitiveness, decisiveness, and an unwavering drive to succeed.
Juris Doctorate and Florida Bar Admission in good standing.
Salary & Benefits:
The base/draw pay range is $200,000 per year. The commission depends on case results and candidate team play. The commission structure will be discussed during the interview. The candidate has the potential to make over $400, 000 but it will take hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
$100,000.00 life insurance policy paid by the Firm.
One week’s vacation after six months of employment, two weeks of vacation after one year of employment, and three weeks of vacation after two years of employment with the firm.
Six federal holidays off per year.
Six personal/sick days per year.
Health insurance (4 different options to choose from, including a Health Savings Account – HAS option), basic packet health insurance paid in full by the firm.
Dental and vision are paid in full by the firm.
Discounted JCC membership.
Benefits are available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
