We are currently seeking an Inspection Scheduling Specialist in our Arlington, Massachusetts location.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

As an Inspection Scheduling Specialist, it will be your job to schedule service calls, fire inspections, and customer support. Our team members must be able to work well with others while pursuing team goals for productivity and innovation while striving for their own job satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Schedule inspections for our customers. Inspections to be scheduled are as followed: QCI (Quality), Gold Service, System Wellness, and UL/DOD.
Annual UL/DOD inspections must be completed prior to annual UL Inspection.
Schedule firmware and software upgrades for Gold customers as needed.
Meet goals for scheduled inspections (weekly, monthly).
Meet with Manager/Supervisor consistently to review status of booked inspections.
Schedule return visits for discrepancies, upgrades, and new sales.
Answer incoming calls, be able to meet the customer’s needs and resolve customer issues.
Watch the schedule for any changes that will affect scheduled visits i.e. late start, rush jobs, emergencies.
Back up service scheduling team as necessary.
Dispatch technician to customer related service calls.
Review scheduling changes/Issues with Service Scheduling Supervisor/Manager.
Communicate with sales, technical staff, accounting to accommodate the needs of the customer to provide superior customer service.
Assist with special projects.

Education/Experience:

Position requires a team-oriented individual with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Individual must have a proven track record of taking initiative and handling numerous priorities at once while providing superior customer support. Must be proficient in computer skills and detail orientated.

Minimum education requirements: Associate degree or high school diploma with longer work experience. Candidate must be highly proficient with software applications.

Physical Activities/ Requirements

Manual dexterity and sitting are required in carrying out own responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computers).
Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment.
Ability to communicate via telephone and work in virtual teams.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work in a traditional professional office setting
Ability to lift to 5 -10lb
