Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business and corporate law, and Family Law, with a strong proficiency in case analysis and discovery. Practical trial and litigation experience is desired.
Duties
– Manage and prioritize matters, appointments, and hearings to comply with deadlines
– Engage in networking activities to originate clients and promote the firm
– Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
– Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
– Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
– Provide legal advice and guidance on complex legal issues
– Construct legal arguments aimed at securing financial reparations rather than pursuing criminal charges and litigating the case within a court of law
– Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy
– Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas
Requirements
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
– Admission to the state bar association
– Proven experience in litigation and trial advocacy
– Strong research and writing skills
– Minimum 1+ years’ in Family Law, Litigation or Trial experience
– Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
