Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external lawyers for case follow-ups, updates, and rescheduling of hearings or legal proceedings.
- Draft, review, and prepare contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Provide updates on relevant laws, rules, regulations, and compliance requirements under the laws of Bangladesh.
- Attend court proceedings at the High Court Division, CMM Court, and other legal offices as a company representative.
- Draft and finalize legal documents including agreements, Power of Attorney (POA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), affidavits and any other legal instruments as advised by management.
- Handle all aspects of legal compliance relating to Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (BLL), Bangladesh Labor Rules (BLR) and amendments as required.
- Review existing recruitment process documentation and recommend changes wherever it is required as per law.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of industrial relations within the organization.
- Act as the primary liaison between management and other competent authorities ensuring smooth negotiations and conflict resolution as per law.
- Lead bargaining processes wherever it is required for a productive, fair and transparent agreements.
- Maintain contacts with concerned government departments, BGMEA, law enforcement, and key stakeholders.
- Perform additional legal and administrative duties as assigned by Management.

- Represent the company professionally in court proceedings and legal offices.
- Deliver legally sound contracts, agreements, and documentation.
- Achieve smooth industrial relations and maintain constructive negotiations.
- Secure fair and productive collective outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and organizational policies to minimize risk.
- Maintain strong and effective contacts with government departments, BGMEA, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: 7-10 years
- Education: bachelor of laws (llb)
