Employees First Labor Law – Associate Attorney:

Employees First Labor Law is a fast-growing, premier plaintiff-side labor and employment and class action law firm. We are looking for a 1-3+ year associate for our employment law department. In this position you will be expected to handle all facets of the litigation process, from the inception of the case, drafting complaints, propounding and responding to discovery, filing pre-trial motions, opposing motions for summary judgment, mediation, and preparation for trial.

This position represents significant opportunity for advancement. We have in-house trial lawyers, but are ideally looking for someone also with aspirations to assist with trial work and handle trials one day on their own with their own team.

Hiring Criteria:

All qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must be (1) licensed to practice law in California, or (2) already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California Bar.
The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in California and have 1 – 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, including experience with discovery in civil litigation, taking/defending depositions of clients, significant experience in appearing in Court, motion practice, and pre-trial case work up.
Prior experience with employment litigation or as defense counsel is a plus.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
