Job Summary:

TCM is looking for a motivated attorney to join our team in the role of Sr. Claims Counsel. In this position you will oversee claims administration and litigation management from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including retaining and management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations, settlement conferences, invoice and expense management and complex reporting.

Our process is built on proactive claims analysis by providing timely reserve recommendations and prompt client communications. Through clear and concise reporting we provide our clients with solid case management strategies. Our goal is to help clients obtain the most cost-effective claims resolution possible. Therefore, the right candidate must be able to engage in high-level problem solving, legal analysis and negotiations and have a passion for serving clients.

Qualifications:

JD (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school
Licensed as an attorney (in good standing) in at least one state (valid State Bar member)
A minimum of 4 years of experience in insurance litigation, professional liability claims administration or litigation management
Licensed Insurance Adjuster (or willingness to obtain this and any other required insurance or legal certifications)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Exceptional writing skills due to the level of report writing required by clients (writing samples may be requested)
Command of Microsoft 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
Experience working with claims software and file management systems
Ability to work independently and as a part of a close-knit team

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
