Our client, a large clean and carbon-free energy generating company, is looking to fill the role of Assistant General Counsel– Generation
. The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to handle all generation-related legal matters including project development, operations and other matters. The position is fully remote.

What you’ll do:
Handle all aspects of company’s generation business including project development, project finance, commercial contracts, and operations matters
Coordinate with and advise internal development and operations clients
Provide clients with risk assessments and solutions
Manage outside counsel
What you will need:
JD Degree from accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
At least 5-8 years’ relevant legal experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Excellent communications and legal research and analysis skills
Experience in independent power project development & operations
