POSITION TITLE: Assistant District Attorney
LOCATION: District 10 – Osage County
STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt, Immediate Opening
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: Range – $60,000 – $90,000 Plus Benefits
BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including generous monthly allowance for health coverage for employee, spouse, and dependents. Paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly. Paid holidays. Retirement.
POSITION SUMMARY: District 10 District Attorney’s Office covers Osage and Pawnee Counties. Vacant Assistant District Attorney position is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Preference is for individuals with prosecution experience, but we will also consider new attorneys who have a genuine desire to serve the community in which they live.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Prosecution of all levels of criminal cases (misdemeanors and felonies) including traffic, juvenile, and special courts (drug/mental health/diversion).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Admitted to and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Possess excellent verbal skills, legal analysis, and legal writing and editing skills.
Organizational, communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation.
