Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy skills in civil cases. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, the ability to think quickly, and the capability to litigate effectively on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive pre-hearing case preparation.
Draft, review, and negotiate settlement agreements and legal documents with precision.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations in the District of Columbia courts (most hearings virtual and conducted from the office).
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases while managing a caseload independently.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases or firm practices.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in District of Columbia (required.) In addition, a VA or MD Bar is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities efficiently.
Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with litigants and the Courts.
We will train in relevant areas of law.

Pay: $87,917.00 – $96,829.00 per year
