A peer-reviewed & fast-growing firm of practicing Company Secretaries seeking a dynamic individual to join us as an ‘Assistant – Company Secretary’ at our proposed branch office in Panaji, Goa.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 0-2 years of experience working in a mid-sized practicing firm or consulting entity or even a listed Company background works.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Management:
Oversee compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements of compliance, secretarial & governance matters for client Companies including listed (Equity, Debt) entities. Stay up-to-date with any changes in legislation or regulations that may impact the business.

FEMA Compliance:
Oversee and manage all Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) related work for the clients in FDI, and ODI space.

Team

Collaboration:

Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Advisory Services:
Provide expert guidance and counsel to clients and internal stakeholders on Company secretarial matters, corporate governance, and related legal issues.

Liaison with Authorities:
Act as the key point of contact with regulatory authorities, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.

Contribute to knowledge-building sessions at the firm, lead the newsletter and other knowledge-building/knowledge-sharing initiatives of the firm.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Fresher Company Secretary

Experience:

A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience

Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.

Decision-making:
Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed judgments in complex situations.

Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a proactive mindset, willing to take initiative and go beyond the conventional to deliver exceptional results.

Analytical and Solution-Oriented:
Strong analytical skills to assess and address company secretarial challenges with innovative and practical solutions.

Industry Knowledge:
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Remuneration:

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with industry standards and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. (In the range of INR 6.00 to 8.5 Lakh per annum depending upon the credentials of the candidate)
