We’re seeking a highly motivated Litigation Legal Assistant to join us in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the efficient management of our cases.

Key Responsibilities:

– Streamlined Court Filings: Prepare and file formal documents promptly and accurately with the Court to ensure timely proceedings.
– Thorough Discovery Management: Assist in preparing Discovery Responses and Propounding Discovery on Defense, ensuring all necessary information is obtained.
– Meticulous File Management: Maintain organized personal injury files to facilitate smooth case management and access to essential information.
– Effective Communication: Liaise with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and personal injury clients to keep all parties informed and ensure clear communication channels.
– Comprehensive Records Management: Order, organize, and review medical records and bills to support case preparation and facilitate decision-making.
– Efficient Data Management: Create and manage spreadsheets using Excel to track and analyze case-related information accurately.
– Precise Calendar Management: Utilize Outlook to maintain accurate calendars and schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and appointments are coordinated efficiently.

Key Requirements:

– Discovery and Pleadings Experience: Prior experience in discovery and pleadings is required.
– Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
– Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, even when managing multiple tasks and priorities.
– High Standards of Performance: Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and uphold the highest standards of performance in all aspects of your work.
– Professionalism: Maintain a positive, cooperative, and flexible attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Pay:

Pay commensurate with experience, with potential to earn bonus.

Preferred:
-Spanish preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
