We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance on transactional matters and commercial operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams, advise on legal risks, and support key business initiatives.
Legal Advisory: Partner with business teams to address legal issues related to new and existing products and services.
Compliance & Risk Management: Advise stakeholders on legal compliance, intellectual property protection, and proper documentation of promotional relationships.
Transactional Leadership: Lead negotiations and interactions with e-commerce and technology partners.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including:
Cloud and on-premise subscription agreements
Licensing and professional services agreements
Manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, NDAs, and marketing services agreements
Template Development: Create and maintain contract templates to streamline legal processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with privacy, tax, finance, fraud prevention, and other teams to ensure legal alignment.
Internal Representation: Act as a legal representative in working groups and task forces.
Strategic Support: Assist business teams with ongoing and special initiatives to drive company success.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred).
3-4+ years of transactional legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal team.
Strong expertise in legal matters related to technology, e-commerce, and product development.
Familiarity with marketing, regulatory, and industry compliance for tech and e-commerce businesses.
Proven experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts.
Ability to serve as the primary legal advisor for multiple product and operational groups.
Exceptional precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
