** Ce séminaire vise à permettre aux étudiant
· e·s à la maîtrise en droit (LL.M.) de développer leurs compétences en recherche par l’exploration et l’application de grands thèmes transversaux, tels que l’égalité, la sécurité, les droits, l’accès à la justice ou les questions d’intérêt public, ou par des études de cas tirées de différents domaines du droit. Ces thèmes et ces études de cas seront abordés à la lumière d’enjeux juridiques contemporains.
Le cours s’intéressera notamment à la justice pénale, aux droits fondamentaux et aux droits de l’enfant, ainsi qu’aux rational ités qui sous-tendent l’interprétation et l’application du droit.
La personne idéale devra être titulaire d’un LL.L. ou d’un LL.B., ainsi que d’un LL.M. en droit ou d’un diplôme équivalent. Elle devra également être membre en règle du Barreau du Québec et posséder une connaissance approfondie des exigences des études supérieures en droit au Canada. La priorité sera accordée aux personnes ayant complété avec succès le cours DCL
5535 et étant engagées dans un doctorat en droit portant sur les thèmes du présent séminaire.
