*Job Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the entire PI process and utilize said knowledge to assist attorneys in the litigation of personal injury cases, from the initial filing through trial or settlement. Experience in, and current knowledge of, the preparation of trial documents, including trial binders, motions in limine, joint trial documents, verdict forms, etc., will be critical to your success. The ability to speak a secondary language, such as Spanish or Chinese, will also be a plus.

*Responsibilities*

– Work and communicate effectively with the pre-litigation teams to coordinate the movement of cases into the follow-on litigation phase

– Conduct client interviews and maintain contact with clients, as necessary

– Organize and manage case files

– Review and summarize medical records

– Assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions

– Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations

– Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles

– Prepare discovery requests and responses

– Manage document production

*Qualifications*

– Proven experience as a Paralegal specializing in personal injury law

– Familiarity with document and client management systems

– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

– Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence

– Ability to provide executive administrative support to attorneys with high attention to detail

– Experience in project management within a legal setting is a plus

– Ability to conduct interviews with clients and witnesses in connection with discovery, amongst other things

Compensation will range from $25.50 to $30.50 per hour, depending on experience, and will increase with solid performance and time with the organization. Parking will be provided within the building structure, and there will be an opportunity to join an employer matching 401k and health insurance program. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $31.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
