Duties:
Led and managed appellate cases from inception to resolution, ensuring the highest standard of legal practice.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, including managing carrier relationships.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Contribute to the firm’s growth by providing strategic insights and assisting in business development efforts.
Participate in firm-wide initiatives, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
Drive efforts to enhance the firm’s reputation within the appellate space.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Partner-level Appellate attorney, with a strong track record in managing appellate files and client relationships.
Excellent professional references and a history of job stability.
Active membership in the California Bar with good standing.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team, supporting the firm’s collaborative ethos.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
Exceptional analytical and research abilities.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on nurturing talent within the firm.
Ability to handle a high volume of complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
