We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to join our dynamic law office. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. This role requires proficiency in document management systems and a solid understanding of legal terminology, particularly in family law. The Legal Secretary will play a crucial role in facilitating communication, managing documentation, and assisting with case preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Manage case files and maintain organized documentation using document management systems.
Conduct document review to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Assist attorneys in litigation processes by preparing trial materials and exhibits.
Utilize research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw for legal research as needed.
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for attorneys.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal regulations.

Skills
