Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 ranked international law firm seeking a 1st to 3rd year Antitrust Associate to join its New York, NY office.
This position is designed for a junior associate who wants immediate exposure to sophisticated antitrust matters, including investigations, enforcement actions and complex private litigation, with opportunities to support regulatory strategy tied to transactions and evolving competition issues.
The team sits within a broad, full service platform and is known for a collaborative, partner led approach and hands on training. Attorneys work closely across offices and practices to support clients operating in fast moving, highly regulated markets.
The Opportunity
You will contribute across the litigation lifecycle, including drafting and analysis, discovery, and motion practice, while also supporting client counseling on antitrust compliance and risk management. Matters may include monopolization and merger related issues, as well as cross border advocacy and engagement with competition regulators.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 1st to 3rd year Antitrust Associate with:
- 1 to 3 years of antitrust and competition experience, including litigation and or investigations
- Admission to the New York Bar and or District of Columbia Bar
- Strong litigation fundamentals, including drafting pleadings, discovery work, and motion practice
- Excellent academic credentials
- Prior clerkship experience or experience with DOJ or FTC matters preferred

Compensation
