We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AML Compliance Officer to ensure that our company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing compliance programs to prevent illegal activities like money laundering and terrorist financing. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and the ability to monitor and report suspicious activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AML compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor transactions and customer activity to identify and report suspicious behavior.
- Ensure compliance with local and international AML regulations.
- Conduct AML audits, assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies for AML reporting.
- Provide training and support to staff on AML regulations and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in AML laws and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in AML compliance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Certification in AML (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
