Advocate (Non Litigation) – Real Estate Documentation

Aakruthi Properties is seeking a Advocate to support our legal team in handling property documentation, compliance, and transactions. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with senior legal professionals, gain
hands-on experience
in real estate law, and navigate regulatory frameworks in Karnataka.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents related to property acquisition, sale, joint development, and land transactions.
Conduct preliminary legal due diligence on property titles, encumbrance certificates, and ownership documents to ensure legal clarity.
Ensure compliance with RERA, Karnataka Land Revenue Act, and other applicable real estate laws governing property transactions and development.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals, registrations, and compliance filings.
Maintain a structured repository of legal documents, agreements, and case records for internal tracking and reference.
Provide legal assistance during contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and buyer agreements to mitigate risks.
Stay updated with amendments in real estate laws, litigation trends, and legal best practices to safeguard the company’s interests.
Key Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
5-6 years of experience in real estate law, property documentation, and
regulatory compliance
in Karnataka.
Strong knowledge of RERA, Karnataka Land Laws, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Duty & Registration Act, and contract laws.
Excellent drafting, legal research, and negotiation skills with
attention to detail
.
Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams, government bodies, and property consultants.
Experience handling property registration, sale deeds, lease agreements, and due diligence reports.
Strong
communication
and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.
