Advanced Paralegal (Full Time) in District Attorney’s Office Jobs in Appleton, WI at Outagamie County
Longman Jakuback is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Manage document production and review, including e-discovery.
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Maintain and update legal databases and filing systems.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College degree OR Completion of Paralegal Training Program is required.
3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law, criminal law, and/or personal injury
Proficiency in legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Smokeball is preferred
