Our law firm consists of a compassionate team of dedicated legal professionals. We are expanding to new levels of growth and presently seeking the help of a high-energy and positive intake specialist to handle our new prospective client relations. The intake process is the beginning of a long-term professional relationship with our client(s) and we believe that every potential new client should feel at ease and confident after speaking with our Legal Intake Specialist.

Candidate(s) should be detail-oriented, have excellent customer service, and superb sales skills. Additionally, this position requires that the Legal Intake Specialist take part in business development activities to grow the firm.
Candidate Requirements:
Law firm experience required. 2 year minimum.
Speak the Spanish language proficiently.
Client obsession.

Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn, strategize and execute strategies effectively.
Professional pride in client communication.
Knowledgeable about the Texas criminal judicial process – our office handles all types of Texas misdemeanors and serious felony offenses.

Adaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.

Sales experience is preferred.
Criminal Defense or Personal Injury experience is preferred.

Business attire as we maintain and present a professional environment for our clients. Casual Fridays are ok except when scheduled client meetings are required (you’ll have plenty of notice).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Handling new prospective client(s) intake process.
Researching Texas case law on specific legal issues on a case-by-case basis.
Drafting, reviewing, and e-filing Motions, Briefs, Notices, Letters of Representation/Protection, and Proposed Orders.
Managing client intake/communications/correspondence by providing case updates either via email or phone.
Communication with Court Staff/Personnel.
Interviewing/note taking when obtaining testimony/information from prospective client(s).
Attend seminars, training classes and review current professional literature to maintain and develop professional skills and knowledge.
Organize both physical and digital new client files in MyCase, and
Managing calendar appointments and court dates.
Reply sending a cover letter, resume and salary requirements.
