Carabetta Property Management is looking to hire an experience Administrative Assistant for their Meriden, CT office!
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (this is an ON-SITE position)
Pay: Depending on Experience
The Administrative Assistant responsibilities are:
Provide executive administrative support, including – managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arrange multi-party conference calls and preparing agendas.
Coordinate various projects and events, from planning to execution, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
Develop an understanding of the Company’s operations, policies, procedures and culture; help plan and execute time-sensitive tasks.
Maintain office organization by managing supplies, equipment, and filing systems.
Demonstrate computer literacy by effectively using office software and tools to enhance productivity.
Have consistent interaction with Company employees and department heads
Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Assist in monitoring and follow-up of numerous matters on a daily basis
Ability to apply common sense and logic to get the job done, to excel in working with co-workers/other parties diplomatically and professionally at all times
The requirements of the Administrative Assistant are:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the administrative role with strong calendar management skills
Proficient typing skills (minimum 70 wpm), and computer skills (Microsoft Office; Word; Excel; Outlook; PowerPoint and Adobe)
Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred
Paralegal background is a PLUS
Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and utmost confidentiality
Maintains a “can do” attitude for all situations, no task being too big or too small to handle; energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Self-directed and able to work without supervision; excellent time management skills and keen understanding of prioritization of tasks
Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain a sense of humor and get along with co-workers and other people in general
Comfortable performing a wide range of administrative duties including drafting correspondence, preparing memorandums, maintaining files and creating spreadsheets
