Position Summary

The Training & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring training programs that align with Wingstop standards. This role ensures that all team members understand their roles, deliver exceptional guest service, and meet company and legal compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about people development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

Onboard and train new employees, ensuring they understand Wingstop brand standards, service expectations, and operational procedures.
Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and SOPs (standard operating procedures).
Conduct hands-on training sessions and follow-up evaluations.
Identify ongoing training needs and provide refreshers or corrective coaching as needed.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure all employees comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and labor laws.
Monitor and enforce Wingstop brand and operational standards.
Conduct regular internal audits (e.g. food safety, cleanliness, cash handling, documentation).
Maintain proper training and compliance records.

Leadership & Communication

Act as a liaison between management and team members regarding policy updates, training requirements, and performance expectations.
Coach and mentor team members to support career development and retention.
Collaborate with General Manager and corporate support to implement new initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant operations or training/compliance management.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and labor laws.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
