Full Job Description

Administrative Assistant needed in our Fort Lauderdale office to assist our Trust and Estates department. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the maintenance and organization of physical and electronic files and will assist with other various administrative office tasks. This is an entry level position. Applicants should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a file clerk in a professional office setting. Prior law firm experience is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, organize, and index all case files for attorneys.

Responsible for the organization of both physical and electronic files.

File correspondence, pleadings, and other documentation in an accurate and timely manner

Locate information from files and create new entries/sub files and close files as needed.

Keep records of materials filed or removed, utilizing systems, including firm document management system.

Organization of files in storage rooms.

Perform general administrative tasks, including scanning documents, saving to electronic filing system, typing, and operating office machines.

Performs related general office duties as required.
