Recorder – Post Closing, Policies & Recording Team
World Wide Land Transfer is a leading title insurance company dedicated to providing seamless real estate transactions nationwide. We’re currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Recorder to join our Post Closing, Policies, and Recording Team. This is a full-time, in-office position and a critical role in ensuring documents are accurately recorded and compliant with various state and county requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and submit real estate documents for electronic or physical recording across multiple states and counties.
Stay current on varying state and county recording requirements and adapt internal processes accordingly.
Liaise with county clerks, title companies, and internal departments to troubleshoot recording issues and rejections.
Monitor the status of submitted documents and confirm successful recording.
Promptly address and resolve rejections, ensuring systems and stakeholders are updated.
Maintain accurate logs of submitted, recorded, and rejected documents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in real estate, title, escrow, or document recording (multi-state experience is a plus).
Familiarity with title software, including SoftPro, is a plus.
Experience with e-recording platforms such as Simplifile or CSC is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
