VA Accredited Claims Agent | Veterans Disability Practice Lead | Fully Remote
Law Offices of Eric A. Shore is seeking an experienced VA accredited claims agent to take a lead role in our established and growing Veterans Disability practice.
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will help lead the day to day practice, evaluate cases, decide how they should proceed, provide direction to an experienced support team, and help us grow.
Current individual VA claims agent accreditation and external VBMS access for representing VA claimants are required.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary day to day lead for our Veterans Disability practice
- Review cases and determine the appropriate strategy and next steps
- Decide whether and how to pursue Supplemental Claims, Higher Level Reviews, Board appeals, and other available options within the scope of your accreditation
- Review C files, rating decisions, medical evidence, service records, and other case materials
- Identify missing evidence and determine what is needed to properly develop a case
- Work extensively in VBMS, VA.gov, Caseflow, and other VA systems
- Provide direction to experienced legal assistants and case managers
- Review work for quality and help make sure cases continue moving
- Work directly with firm leadership to improve and grow the Veterans Disability practice
What We Require
- Current individual VA accreditation as a claims agent
- Current external VBMS access for representing VA claimants
- Significant recent Veterans Disability experience
- Strong knowledge of VA claims, appeals, and available review options
- Experience independently evaluating cases and determining how to proceed
- Strong experience reviewing C files and developing VA cases
- Good judgment, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to lead a remote team and take ownership of an active practice
Current or recent private law firm Veterans Disability experience is strongly preferred. Experience leading, supervising, or training a VA team is also highly valued.
A True Remote Leadership Role
This is a fully remote position with no routine office attendance requirement. You may work from anywhere in the United States.
You will be joining an established practice with experienced support. We need someone who can take ownership, make sound decisions, communicate with the team, and help us build an even stronger Veterans Disability practice.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
