Position: 3-5 M&A Associate – Energy
Energy Transition Associate (3–5 PQE) Top International Law Firm – London A leading international law firm is looking to hire a 3–5 PQE Associate into its growing Renewable Energy & Energy Transition practice in London. This is a key hire within a high-performing team that advises on some of the most strategically significant energy projects and investments across the UK and Europe.
The team has a
strong reputation
for advising developers, sponsors, utilities, and institutional investors on the full lifecycle of renewable and low-carbon projects, including offshore and onshore wind, solar, hydrogen, energy storage, carbon capture, and wider infrastructure plays linked to the energy transition.
The Role:
Advising on M&A, joint ventures, project development, and commercial contracts across a broad spectrum of renewable and low-carbon energy projects. Working closely with clients on novel regulatory and commercial issues arising from the transition to net zero. Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, regulatory, construction, and finance to deliver integrated solutions. Why This Role:

Candidate Profile: 3–5 PQE, with a strong grounding in corporate, commercial or projects work from a recognised practice. Experience or a demonstrable interest in the energy sector, particularly renewables or broader energy transition technologies. Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-evolving regulatory and transactional landscape. Excellent academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills.
