Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to assist our attorneys in handling lemon law, personal injury, and immigration cases. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple cases with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Manage case files from intake through resolution or trial
Assist in client communications, including intake and case updates
Prepare evidence and documentation for court hearings, arbitrations, and immigration interviews
Track deadlines, court dates, and other critical milestones
Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and expert witnesses as needed
Translate documents or interpret for clients (if bilingual)
Qualifications:
2+ years of paralegal experience (lemon law, personal injury, or immigration law preferred)
Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and USCIS/EOIR processes
Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
