Salary: $45,000-$55,000/per year
Job Description:
Established Law Firm is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and compassionate Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking bankruptcy assistance. This role is critical in setting the tone for a positive client experience and ensuring a smooth intake process.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for all prospective bankruptcy clients via phone, email, and online inquiries
Conduct initial client screenings to gather key information about their financial situation
Schedule consultations and follow up with potential clients as appropriate
Input and maintain accurate data in client management systems
Answer general questions about the bankruptcy process (training provided)
Coordinate closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure a seamless intake-to-consultation transition
Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy at all times
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a legal or client services role preferred
Bankruptcy experience is a plus, but not required – training will be provided
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Comfortable working with client management and scheduling software
Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues as needed
